10.3 Checking the Status of the Software RAID1

10.3.1 Status indicator lamps
The Equipment has an alarm lamp used for showing the status of the software RAID1.
Meaning of the Alarm Lamp
Status of the alarm
lamp indicator Status of the HDDs
(Red)
OFF Both HDDs are working properly.
ON One HDD has an error.
(operating in the fall-back mode)
(Note) The alarm lamp is also used for monitoring the status of other what than the software RAID1. The alarm
lamp is not turned off when the software RAID1 recovers from an error if an error is detected in another
monitored item.
