you replace an HDD. Otherwise, the stored data may be destroyed.
 Before you ensure "Not Connected" status in the "Hardware status" window,
never mount a new HDD.

cause a failure.
 Pay attention not to apply shock to the replacing HDD and the replaced HDD
during work, whether installed or not installed on the Equipment. Otherwise, a
failure may result.
 Never shut down the OS or perform the HDD detachment/attachment work
before the RAID1 rebuilding process is complete. Otherwise, the stored data in
the HDD may be lost or a failure may result.

 Observe the work order and follow the given instructions. Otherwise, the stored

 Do not replace with an HDD previously used in any RAID level. Otherwise, the
Equipment may not start up or you may lose data stored in the HDD due to
inconsistency of the RAID1 configuration information or similar cause.
 Selecting a wrong HDD as the target will erase the data stored in the HDD.
Fully ensure the drive bay number for the target HDD on the Equipment at the
user's responsibility.
 Do not altogether replace the two HDDs in RAID1 configuration.
 To prevent damage due to static electricity discharge, wear cotton gloves when
you replace an HDD. Otherwise, the stored data may be destroyed.
 When you replace an HDD while the Equipment power is on, first stop the
power supply to the target HDD by placing the HDD into OFFLINE state in the
"Hardware status" window. Never attempt HDD replacement before this
window is ready (e.g., immediately after the OS startup). Otherwise, a machine
failure or HDD failure may result.
