5.2 Periodical Checkout
The table below shows how to check out the Equipment periodically. A qualified
maintenance person must conduct this periodical checkout. Include the checkout time in
the system operation schedule.

5.3 Replacement of Consumable Parts
Do not use consumable parts beyond the recommended interval. Deterioration
of parts may cause failure.
Parts deteriorate and become worn off when they are used over a period of time. Replace
the parts listed below at certain intervals. These parts are provided on a chargeable basis.

* Based on the assumption that the HDD is used 24 hours per day. Even if your average usage is
less than 24 hours a day, replacement is necessary when usage exceeds 4 years or total powered
time of 20,000 hours, whichever comes first. In addition, it is highly recommended that you
regularly back up your files in your daily operation so that you can quickly recover from
unlikely errors in your file contents.
