5.4.4 Detaching/attaching vertical stand

 Be sure to shut down the OS, disconnect the power cord plug from the outlet,
and wait at least one minute before you detach or attach the vertical stand.
 Falling or dropping of the Equipment vertically placed on the desktop may
cause injury. Be sure to attach the vertical stand accompanying the
Equipment and place the Equipment with the vertical stand on a level surface.
This Equipment optionally provides the vertical stand including the fixing screws. When
detaching or attaching the vertical stand, pay attention to the following:
 Do not apply shock to the Equipment.
 Be sure to shut down the OS, disconnect the power cord plug from the outlet, and wait
at least one minute before work.
 Disconnect all the cables connected to the Equipment.
 Reserve the maintenance area, and work in a flat place. (See Subsection 1.2.2,
"Installation conditions.")
 When tightening or loosening a screw, be careful not to crush the screw head. Use a
Phillips screwdriver of JIS No.2 suitable for the size of the screw head.
 When tightening a screw, be careful not to apply excessive force for preventing
destruction of the screw mountain. Tighten the screw straight into the screw hole.
(1) Attaching the vertical stand
Attach the vertical stand to the Equipment securely, with the screws provided as part
of the vertical stand.
(2) Detaching the vertical stand
Detach the vertical stand by reversing the order of attachment. Keep the detached
vertical stand and screws for future use.
