Note
Incorrect handling can result in damage to the device.
Handle all modules and components with great care. Pay
particular attention to the following:
– Correct mechanical coding of the connection blocks
– The metal interlinking block must be clean and free of
foreign matter, especially around the area of the contact
rails.
– Only use screws with a metric thread.
– Position screws exactly before tightening (otherwise
their threads will be damaged). Only tighten the screws
by hand.
– The specified torques must be observed
– Fitting without distortion and mechanical tension
– Undamaged seals and threads (to ensure the specified
IP protection class is maintained)
– Connecting surfaces must be clean (to ensure the seal-
ing effect and to avoid leakage and contact errors).
Also observe the mounting instructions in the package
insert supplied with modules and components sub-
sequently ordered.
If the thread is damaged, replace the interlinking block.
The screw connection between the sub-base and the manifold
sub-base is designed to withstand at least 10 fitting/removal
cycles under observance of the instructions.
