Note
Please observe the instructions on combining electron-
ics modules and connection blocks in section 1.4.
When combining and arranging modules on the CPX
terminal (-P), please observe the rules for assembly in
section 2.2.
Mounting an electronics module:
1. Insert the electronics module ( 3 ) correctly into the in-
terlinking block ( 4 ) (
2. Align the electronics module in such a way that the
grooves with the contact terminals on the underside of
the electronics module are positioned above the contact
rails.
3. Then push the electronics module ( 3 ) carefully and
without tilting as far as possible into the interlinking block
( 4 ).
Mounting a connection block:
1. Check to make sure the mechanical coding of the connec-
tion block ( 1 ) is correct. If necessary, conduct a new
mechanical coding procedure (
2. Align the connection block ( 1 ) over the interlinking
block ( 4 ) with the electronics module ( 3 ). Make sure
that the plug connectors of the sub-base are aligned ex-
actly with the connectors of the electronic module. Then
push the connection block ( 1 ) carefully and without
tilting onto the interlinking block.
3. Only tighten the four screws by hand. Tighten all four
screws in diagonally opposite sequence by using a Torx
screwdriver (size T10) - tightening torque 1 Nm ± 10 %.
The lower right-hand screw is used internally as an earthing
contact between the interlinking block and the connection
block.
