This parameter is only available in the extended process image (miniature switch = ON).

Description Specifies the operating mode for the first 4 input channels (0 .. 3) of the module.
– Operating mode A: Digital input
– Operating mode B: Counter
– Operating mode C: Frequency measurement up to 1 kHz
– Operating mode D: Frequency measurement up to 10 kHz (only possible for chan-
nel 0)
An alteration of the parameter causes an initialisation of the respective channel.
