Module parameter: Gate time
This parameter is only available in the extended process image (miniature switch = ON).

Description Specifies the period for the frequency measurement (operating mode C, D). Gen-
erally speaking, the longer the gate time, the more accurate the measurement
result. As the frequency is only calculated after expiration of the gate time,
however, more time is also required until the measurement result is available.
An alteration of the parameter causes an initialisation of the respective channel.

Comment The gate time influences the resolution and the speed at which the measured
value is available. Frequency changes can be detected faster at short gate times.
