The energy efficiency module can be expanded on the left and right with service unit components from
the MS6 series è 4.2 Combination with MS6 modules.
4.2

Combination with MS6 modules

Additional service unit components from the MS6 series can be connected to the left and right of an
energy efficiency module.
General information
– Maximum permissible number of entire service unit component combination: 10 individual mod-
ules. The MSE6-D2M product counts as a double module.
– When supplementing MS6 modules, only use the wall mounting set MS6-WPG and the module
connector MS6-MV-EX.
– Observe the assembly instructions for the MS6-WPG wall mounting set.
– In the case of a larger device configuration, a longer FE joint is required.
– The cable has a nominal cross section of 5 mm
– Alternatively: earthing straps are manufactured in a bare or tin-plated design in accordance with
DIN 46444 or in accordance with DIN 72333-3. Nominal cross section: > 5 mm
Mounting
1. With pre-assembled MS6 combinations: replace the wall bracket with a wall mounting set
MS6-WPG.
2. With MS6 individual modules: replace standard module connectors with pre-assembled MS6
combinations with MS6-MV-EX module connectors.
3. For additions to the left side: remove the left-hand pneumatic connecting plate of the MS6 module
or MS6 module combination. At this point, install the left pneumatic connecting plate of the
product.
4. For additions to the right side: remove the right-hand pneumatic connecting plate base of the MS6
module or MS6 module combination. At this point, install the right pneumatic connecting plate of
the product.
Earth terminal
1. Connect the earth terminal on the pneumatic connecting plate with low impedance, short cable
with large cross-sectional area, to the end plate of the electrical linkage module of the product,
pre-assembled on delivery status, è Fig. 16.
2. The earth terminal at the left end plate of the electrical linkage of the product and the earth ter-
minal at the power supply connection must have the same potential. There must be no equalising
currents.
