Multi-Tech Systems, Inc. AT Commands for EDGE Modems (S000371G)
ATS7 specifies the number of seconds the TA will wait for the completion of the call setup
when answering or originating a data call. Also referred to as "no answer timeout". To put
it plainly, this is the time to wait for the carrier signal. If no carrier signal is received within
the specified time, the TA hangs up.
