8.16 AT^CPOL Preferred Operator List

The AT+CPOL read command returns the list of the preferred operators. The AT+CPOL write

command allows to edit the list of the preferred operators. If <index> is given but <operator> is
left out, the entry is deleted.

The order number of the operator in the SIM preferred operator list.

Numeric format
<operator>
Operator in numeric format (GSM Location Area Identification number which consists of a 3-digit country code
plus a 2- or 3-digit network code).
Note:
If you enter AT+CPOL=? immediately after the CHV, you get the URC: "+CME ERROR: operation not allowed". In
addition the AT+CPOL command is blocked until the ME is restarted. You get at any time the faulty response: "+CME
ERROR: operation not allowed". The preferred operator list will not be shown.
To avoid this problem and to check the status of SIM initialization after CHV you can activate the "^SIND: simstatus"
URC provided by AT^SIND.

The AT^SPLM execute command returns the list of operators from the ME. Each operator
code <numeric> that has an alphanumeric equivalent <alpha> in the ME memory is
returned. The list is sorted by operator codes. See also AT+COPN, AT+COPS
