Backgauge Home Position Calibration

The home position of the backgauge is
slightly different on each machine. When
the power is turned ON, the value that is
shown on the Normal Cutting Screen is the
correct home position.
This section describes how to adjust the
backgauge if the sheets are actually cut
shorter than the setting by 1 mm (0.04").
Press the button, then the
button.
- The Backgauge Calibration Screen appears.
- The current home position is indicated in the
upper window.
- In this example, the home position is 621.1 mm
(24.45").
Input the new value for the home
position.
1) Touch the lower window on the screen.
2) On the Numeric Keypad Screen, input the new
value. In this example, if the sheet should be
made longer by 1 mm, input a value that is
shorter than the current value by 1 mm.
Input the value including the first decimal place.
In this example, you would enter 620.1 mm
(24.41").

3) Finally, press the
value. The new home position will be indicated on
the screen.
Press the button.

First, check that the input value is correct,
then press the button. The home position
value will change to the new one.
Press the button.
The backgauge will move to the new home
position.
Now the backgauge calibration procedure is
complete.

The value set on the control
panel must match the actual
length of the cut sheet. Check
this carefully.
If there is a difference, the
cuts will not be accurate.
