A Sheet Remains Partly Uncut

The knife is installed diagonally.
The knife mounting screws are not tight enough, so
the knife can move.

If the cutting stick is worn out, some sheets may
remain uncut.
If the knife is worn out, some sheets may remain
uncut.
The cutting depth is not adjusted correctly.
The height of the knife is less than 95 mm (3.75").
The knife is installed incorrectly.

Some Sheets Are Bent Down

If the groove on the cutting stick becomes too
wide, or the cutting stick is worn out, the cut sheets
may bend down.
If the knife is worn out, the cut sheets may bend
down.
R e m e d y
Correct the knife angle using the knife angle
adjusting lever. (See Section 6-3: "Knife Angle
and Cutting Depth Adjustment"). If the knife is still
mounted diagonally, reinstall the knife. See
Section 6-2.
Reinstall the knife. See Section 6-2.
R e m e d y
Change the face of the cutting stick.
(See Section 6-1: "Cutting Stick Replacement")
Replace the knife.
(See Section 6-2: "Knife Replacement")
After replacing the knife, adjust the cutting depth.
(See Section 6-3: "Knife Angle and Cutting Depth
Adjustment")
Do not use a knife if the height is less than 95 mm
(3.75") because of re-sharpening. Use a new
knife.
Reinstall the knife correctly. (See Section 6-2-4:
"Installing the Knife")
