Creating a Cutting Program

4-3-8 Total Cutting Program

This section describes the procedure for
creating a program to repeat two different
cutting widths, such as a program to create
business cards: cut 55 mm
cut 55 mm
bleed trim.
Example:
Trim a sheet and then make repeat cuts of
50 mm and bleed trims, six times total.
Create a program to trim the
sheet.
- See Section 4-3-1: "Entering a Values to Create a
Program," and create a program that trims the sheet
on all four sides. This will require four steps.
- In this example, the Total Cutting process starts at
the fifth step.
Press the

The Total Cutting Screen appears.
Input "55.0" for Constant Width
Input 1.
- Press the Constant Width Input 1 area. On the
Numeric Keypad Screen, press these buttons:

Input "5.0" for Constant Width Input 2.
- Press the Constant Width Input 2 area. On the
Numeric Keypad Screen, press these buttons:

Enter "7" for Number of Pieces.
The machine will make three cuts of 55 mm
(the width of the card), and another three
bleed cuts, creating seven pieces of paper.
The entry for Number of Pieces should be 7.
The entry for Number of Pieces must be 2 or
greater.
Press the
The cutting length for each step is calculated
automatically using the input values and
shown in the Programming Screen.
