Creating a Cutting Program

4-3-1 Entering the Values to Create a Program

When you want to repeat the same cutting
job, or do a complicated job, it is helpful to
create and save a cutting program. The
program includes the cutting length for
each step. Following the program, the
backgauge automatically moves into posi-
tion for each cut.
There are two ways to create a program:
-
Entering values for cutting length that
have already been figured out (Section
4-3-1).
-
Cutting the sheets, and then saving each
cutting length to the program (Section 4-
3-2).
Press the
The Programming Screen appears.
- The setup for the first cut is displayed in the
middle of the list.
- The display for each step has four items:
1. The step number
2. The cutting length
3. The push-out distance
4. Whether the step is repeated, and how often
it is used.

- Three steps, including the previous and next
step, are displayed on the screen. The step in the
middle of the list is the one currently being set
up.
