6-2 Knife Replacement
Tighten the screws in holes 2 and
5. (These are the holes to the
right of the knife replacing tools.)
Support the knife using these two
screws, and remove the two knife
replacing tools.
Loosen the locking screw for the
knife angle adjusting lever using
a 6 mm Allen wrench (acces-
sory).
Set the knife angle adjusting
lever so that it is level.
Tighten the locking screw for the
knife angle adjusting lever using
the Allen wrench.
Turn ON the key switch.
Press both cutting buttons at
once.
- The knife will lower and stop at the lower limit.
- There should be a little space between the knife
edge and the cutting stick.
Turn OFF the key switch.
Loosen the two screws support-
ing the knife.
- The knife will drop and stop at the cutting stick.
- If the knife edge does not touch the cutting stick,
push the head of each locking screw to the left
and downward. If the knife still does not touch
the cutting stick, the knife is too small because it
has been resharpened. The knife must be 95 mm
(3.75") or higher.
