2-3 Hydraulic Pressure Unit Check
Press both cutting buttons at the
same time.
Only the clamp lowers. Press and hold the
cutting buttons.
Read the pressure indicator that
is below the table.
- If the pressure indicator is within the specified
range (5 to 17 kN or 1100 to 3300 lb), the
hydraulic pressure is OK.
- When the cutting buttons are released, the
pressure indicator returns to "0." In that case,
press both cutting buttons again to raise the
clamp. Then, press both cutting buttons
again to lower the clamp and check the
pressure.
- If the clamp does not lower or lowers too
slowly, there is a problem with the
hydraulic pressure unit. Please notify us.
- If the clamp pressure indicator is out of
the specified range, adjust the pressure.
See Section 6-4: "Clamp Pressure Adjust-
ment." If the pressure still can not be
adjusted, please notify your local dealer.

Do not leave the clamp lowered

The temperature of the oil will
rise, and this will shorten the
life of the hydraulic unit.
