DESCRIPTION
OPTIONS
390
Celerra Network Server Command Reference Manual
Manages the Sun Java System Directory Server (iPlanet) client
configuration for the specified Data Mover(s).
server_ldap configures, starts, stops, deletes, and displays the status
of the iPlanet client configuration, and queries the iPlanet server.
-set [ -p ] domain=<FQDN>
Specifies the iPlanet client domain for the specified Data Mover. The
-p requests a prompt for the password. A password is required in
conjunction with a bind distinguished name in order to specify the
use of simple authentication.
[-servers <ip_addr>[:<port>][,<ip_addr>[:<port>]...]]
Specifies the IP addresses of the iPlanet client servers. The port
option specifies the iPlanet server TCP port number.
Note: IP addresses of the iPlanet servers do not have to be included
every time the server_ldap command once you have indicated the
configuration server and if configuring the same iPlanet service.
[-profile <profile_name>]
Specifies the profile which provides the iPlanet client with
configuration information about the directory service.
[-nisdomain <NIS_domain>]
Specifies the NIS domain of which the Data Mover is a member
since an iPlanet domain can host more than one NIS domain.
