Celerra Network Server Command Reference Manual
command cancels any data transfer that is in process and marks the
destination LUN as read-write so that it can act as the new
production LUN. When the original source Data Mover becomes
reachable, the source LUN will be changed to read-only protected
mode.
CAUTION
!
The execution of the failover command is asynchronous and results
in data loss if all the data was not transferred to the destination site
prior to issuing the failover command.
The administrator needs to make sure the LUN masks are set
correctly on the destination target so that, after failover, hosts can
connect to the destination LUN.
If there are multiple sessions using the same source LUN, only one
replication session can be failed over. After the chosen session is
failed over, the other sessions become inactive until the session is
reinstated or failed back.
Using Celerra Replicator for
The number associated with the storage device is dependent on the
attached backend of the system. CLARiiON backends display a
prefix of APM before a set of integers, for example,
APM00033900124-0019. For example, Symmetrix backends display as
002804000190-003C. The outputs displayed in the examples use a
CLARiiON backend.
To list all the replication sessions, type:
iSCSI,
server_iscsi.
