If you do not have the image DVD, you can clear the system event logs from BIOS with the
following procedure:
1. Restart the PC, and press F2 when prompted.
2. When the BIOS window appears, select Server > Event Log configuration > Clear

The network cards are integrated into the server board. If the network cards fail, you must
replace the server.

Video card failure

The video card is integrated into the server board. If the video card fails, you must replace the
server.

Indicators for video card failure

If the monitor appears to be functioning but no display is visible, look for the following indicators
of video card malfunction:
• Brightness and contrast are set at normal level.
• The server is powered on, and one long beep is followed by two short beeps.
• The DVD combo drive light goes on when the server is powered, but no display is visible
on the monitor.
• The DVD combo drive light comes on when you type dir D: and press Enter, but no display
is visible on the monitor.
