Front braking system removal (Versions without ABS)

To remove the front braking system from the vehicle, you must separate the var-

ious components; then you should empty the liquid from the system as follows:
- Remove the rubber cap (1) from the union on the brake calliper (2).
- Insert a transparent hose in the coupling and the other end of the hose in a
container.

- Undo the screws (3) and remove the cover (4) of the fluid reservoir (6) with
the relative bellow (5).
- Pull the brake lever (57) and keep it pulled, loosen the coupling (2) and wait
8 for the oil to come out, then tighten the coupling (2) and release the lever (7).

- Repeat this procedure a few times until all the fluid has drained.
- Undo the drilled bolt (8) and detach the line (9).
- Undo the screws (10) and remove the brake calliper (11), collecting any fluid
remaining in the line.

- Loosen the drilled bolt (8) and disconnect the brake pipe (9) from the master

cylinder.

- Undo the two screws (12) and remove the complete master cylinder (13).

BRAKES
Do not spill brake fluid onto any painted surface or lens (for example
lights lens).
Do not mix two brands of fluid. Completely change the brake fluid
in the brake system if you wish to switch to another fluid brand.
Brake fluid may cause irritation. Avoid contact with skin or eyes.
In case of contact, flush thoroughly with water and call a doctor if
your eyes were exposed.
During the reassembly, position the front brake pipe in the original
position with the respective clamps, then pour the oil in the reservoir
and bleed the system as described in the relevant paragraph.
Replace all the seal washers.
