GENERAL ENGINE PROCEDURES

Mounting the ignition cover

- Clean the sealing faces and fit a new gasket.
- Install the cover (2), being careful with the washer (3) (arrow) and bushing
(4).
- Install the screws (1) of the engine casing cover, right side, tightening to

torque in a cross pattern.

Replacement of the gearbox output shaft oil seal

- Remove the sprocket chain as described in the relevant paragraph.
- Use an appropriate tool to remove the oil seal (1) paying attention to avoid
damaging the seat.
- Lubricate the new oil seal lip.
- Cover the shaft toothing (2) with an appropriate tool or adhesive tape, suc-
cessively mount the new oil seal (1) using an appropriate tool.
- Refit the sprocket chain as described in the relevant paragraph.
