6.16 General Instrument Settings

The following chapters provide the general instrument information and utilities services
in "Device" menu.
1. Press [Settings] key.
The R&S NGL/NGM displays the device/channel menu window.
2. Select the "Device" tab.
The R&S NGL/NGM displays the device menu.

6.16.1 Licenses Management

Options are enabled by entering a registered license key code.
You may choose to install from an XML file on USB or by manually entering the key
code.
► Select "Licenses" to install license key code.
The R&S NGL/NGM displays the license dialog.

To install an XML file, proceed as follows:
1. Copy the XML file containing the registered key code into the USB flash drive.
2. Connect the USB flash drive to the USB port of the instrument.
3. Select "Load File" to load the license file from the USB stick.
4. Select the license file to install in the instrument.
The R&S NGL/NGM install the license option accordingly.
