Latest instrument firmware is available in the R&S NGL/NGM product homepage.
1. Select the "Update Device" to update instrument firmware.
The R&S NGL/NGM displays the update device dialog.

Instrument Functions
General Instrument Settings
Description
Model of the instrument.
Instrument orderable part number.
Unique identification number for the instrument.
Software version that is installed in the instrument.
Unique serial number of the front and mainboard of
the instrument.
Temperature in degrees measured in both Ch1 and
Ch2.
If the temperature exceeded the specification, "Over
Temperature Protection" (OTP) is triggered and the
respective output channel is turned off.
Temperature measures for CPU.
Fan speed and memory capacity in the instrument.
