5. Carefully lift and pull the Sample Loader away from the instrument
approximately 2-3 inches.
6. Push the Sample Loader down to lock it into place.
NOTE: The tubing must be installed before the power is turned ON for the
instrument to operate correctly. Follow the directions below to install the
diluent tubing.
1. Locate the six normally closed valves on the flow panel. Refer to Figure 2.5
for the location of these valves.
2. The procedure described below applies to all the Normally Closed Valves on
the Flow Panel. Refer to Figure 2.6.
3. Select any of the Normally Closed Valves. Carefully insert the diluent tubing
into the slot at the top of the valve. Work the tubing firmly back and forth with
a flossing motion until it is completely inserted into the valve and resting on
the bottom of the slot. Unless this tubing is securely seated, the flow system
will not function properly.
