• If a Y is entered, the RETIC RUN RESULT screen will display the patient
demographic information and RBC value.
NOTE: If no RBC value is displayed (if there is a blank space following
RBC), the RBC value was suppressed due to an RBC metering
fault. Type "N" to display a manual RBC entry screen.
• If an N is entered, the RETIC RUN RESULT screen will be displayed without
the patient demographic information or the RBC value.
If an entry error is made in the second RETIC PATIENT SPECIMEN screen, the
operator may press the [CANCEL] key to return to the RETIC SPECIMEN TYPE
screen.

If the ID located is from a specimen run more than 8 hours ago, the third RETIC
PATIENT SPECIMEN screen is displayed. (See the following figure.)
