Testing the 3-Point Hitch Position Sensor (continued)
Electrical System: Electrical Component Testing
A. Make sure sensor shaft orientation is correct and sensor shaft jam nut is
tight; refer to 3-Point Hitch Position Sensor Tool (page 2–19)
set the sensor shaft position.
B. Check the V-ring and replace it if it is worn or damaged. Install the V-ring
in the correct orientation; refer to
C. Install the position sensor in the same position as recorded prior to switch
removal. Connect the wire harness after testing.
7. If the position sensor tests correctly and a circuit problem still exists, check
the wire harnesses; refer to
