Viewing the System Info

To calibrate the touchscreen
1 Select the SYSTEM icon.
The System screen appears.
2 Select Display.
3 Select Calibrate touchscreen.
4 Tap the screen on the cross-hairs, as prompted.
The calibration process closes automatically after calibration is complete.
Viewing the System Info
To view the revisions of internal components and to see which options are enabled, use
the System Info menu. This menu also provides the serial numbers of internal compo-
nents. The Copy System Info to File button is used to save a file that includes all of the
system information for the instrument.

Enabling software options

You can enable purchased software options in the field by entering the option key that
was provided to you by Viavi. Please call the Viavi Solutions Technical Assistance
Center (TAC) when you receive the option key so we can assist you with entry of the
key and ensure that the process goes smoothly.
TAC will ask you for two items:
• the serial number of the test instrument for which the upgrade or software option
was ordered
• the Option Challenge ID assigned to your test instrument.

Locating the Option Challenge ID

Your instrument's Option Challenge ID is provided on the Review/Install Options
screen.
To locate the Option Challenge ID that is assigned to your instrument
• Select the Tools menu, and then select Review/Install Options...
The Option Challenge ID appears close to the bottom of the screen, directly under the
Option Key field.
