All detectable devices that are within range appear in the Discovered Devices
area.
Previously paired devices appear in the Paired Devices area.

From the list of Discovered devices, select the device to pair with the 5800 or
4800.

If prompted to do so, enter a pairing code on the remote equipment.

Press Pair to validate.
The devices are paired.
If you have paired with an audio device, e.g. headphones, you are able to connect it for
use with your applications, see
If you paired with another unit or a computer, you are able to connect it for file transfers.

Transferring files via Bluetooth
The Bluetooth option allows file transfers between the 5800/4800 and another device.
File transfer between devices via Bluetooth requires that the devices be paired - see
"Setting up a Bluetooth connection" on page
5800/4800 to paired devices.
To transfer files

On the System page, select the Bluetooth icon.

Select the target device (the recipient) from the Paired devices list.
When the device is selected, a panel appears at the bottom-left of the screen,
displaying information about that device.

Click the Send File button.
A dialog appears listing the files that can be sent.

Click on the desired file to be transferred and then click the Send button.
The file is sent to the target device.
NOTE:
Using an audio device while transferring files is not recommended. The perfor-
mance of either may be degraded.
