Electromechanical potentiometer

The SINAMICS PM240M power module has a perma-
nently hardwired electromechanical potentiometer.
The potentiometer is permanently active and is, by de-
fault the main setpoint source.
When the main setpoint source is set to fieldbus, for ex-
ample when using PROFIBUS or PROFINET communi-
cations, the potentiometer is disabled.
The default setting for the electromechanical potentiome-
ter is Unipolar voltage input (0 V ... +3 V).
Note
Parameters related to parameter p0756 modification
When changing p0756 , the parameters of the scaling characteristic (p0757, p0758, p0759,
p0760) are overwritten with the following default values:
For p0756 = 0, 1, 4, p0757 is set to 0.0 V, p0758 = 0.0 %, p0759 = 10.0 V and p0760 =
100.0 %.
For p0756 = 2, p0757 is set to 0.0 mA, p0758 = 0.0 %, p0759 = 20.0 mA and p0760 =
100.0 %.
For p0756 = 3, p0757 is set to 4.0 mA, p0758 = 0.0 %, p0759 = 20.0 mA and p0760 =
100.0 %.
