2. Connect a 1/8 inch clean gas supply line to the IN-side of the pressure regulator.
Use a separate gas line to avoid any pressure drop that may affect the GC.
3. Adjust the pressure of the gas supply source to 1.0 − 1.5 bar (14.5 − 21.6 psig). If a gas
line is teed-up from an installed gas chromatograph, the preset secondary pressure will be
approximately 5 bar (72.5 psig).
4. Adjust the TriPlus RSH Autosampler gas pressure regulator to approximately 0.5 bar
(7.25 psig).
Note Pressures higher than 0.5 bar (7.25 psig) will not yield higher flow rates through
the heated syringe. The syringe needle is the point of flow restriction in the gas flow
system.
The body of the pressure regulator can withstand up to 10 bar (145 psig).
5. Check the installed purge gas pressure regulator connections for leaks. Avoid any
contamination of the pneumatic system, (gas flow), by using liquid soap or similar leak
detection aids.
Note The pressure of the purge gas should be verified during the flush period in a
Headspace Cycle.
The TriPlus RSH is equipped either with a TR Station, (Passive module), containing a single
Slot, or the ATC Station, (Active module), containing three slots. The ATC Station allows the
automatic change of the TriPlus RSH tools according to the specific requests.
To install the Tool Station you want, refer to:

Note Place the TR Station paying attention to keep enough clearance for the tool
below it to not interfere with the GC devices.
Do not place another module too close to the TR Station, keep approximately 20 mm
clearance on the left side. This space is needed for teaching the position.
1. Use the T20 Torxhead screwdriver to loosen the Torx screw on the TR Station mounting
bracket.
2. Hook the TR Station to the X-axis.
