Measuring Pulsed Signals

The power meter can be used to measure the power of a pulsed signal. The
measurement result is a mathematical representation of the pulse power
rather than an actual measurement (assumes constant peak power). The
power meter measures the average power of the pulsed input signal and then
divides the measurement result by the duty cycle value to obtain the pulse
power reading. The allowable range of values is 0.001% to 100%. The default
value is 1.000%.
If duty cycle is enabled, then "Dty Cyc" is displayed.
Pulse measurements are not recommended using Agilent E4412A and E4413A power
N O T E
sensors.
