Press this softkey to select SCPI (Standard Commands for
Programmable Instruments) as the remote programming language you
want to use.
HP 438A
■
Press this softkey to select the Agilent 438A emulation mode. In this
mode, the power meter responds to the Agilent 438A programming
command set.
Select Interface
Press this softkey to access a menu which allows you to select between
GPIB, RS232 and RS422 as the remote interface standard.
GPIB

Press this softkey to select the GPIB port for remote operation.
RS232
•
Press this softkey to select the serial port for remote operation using the
RS232 Standard.
RS422
•
Press this softkey to select the serial port for remote operation using the
RS422 Standard.
Configure Interface
Press this softkey to access a menu which allows you to either configure the
GPIB interface or the serial interface (RS232/RS422).
GPIB

Press this softkey to access a menu which allows you to set the GPIB
address.
GPIB Addr

Press this softkey to set the GPIB address of your power meter
between 0 and 30. The default value is 13. A pop-up window appears
