18.1 About Time Range
You can set a t im e range for t im e- orient ed feat ures such as Classifier ACL ( Access Cont rol List ) rule
which cat egorizes dat a packet s int o different net work t raffic flow. The advant age of t he t im e range
feat ure is t hat it allows you t o schedule t he act ive t im e of configurat ions. For exam ple, see
19.2 on page 201
The t im e range can be configured in t wo ways - Absolut e and Periodic. Absolut e is a fixed t im e
range wit h a st art and end t im e. Periodic is recurrence of a t im e range and doesn't have an end
t im e.

Click Adva nce d Applica t ion > Tim e Ra nge in t he navigat ion panel t o display t he screen as
shown.
