screen, click I P Applica t ion > D H CP > D H CPv4 > VLAN > Por t .

Chapter 43 DHCP
DESCRIPTION
Use t his sect ion if you want t o configure t he Swit ch t o funct ion as a DHCP relay for t his
VLAN.
Ent er t he I P address of a DHCP server in dot t ed decim al not at ion.
Select a pre- defined DHCP opt ion 82 profile t hat t he Swit ch applies t o all port s in t his
VLAN. The Swit ch adds t he Circuit I D sub- opt ion and/ or Rem ot e I D sub- opt ion specified in
t he profile t o DHCP request s t hat it relays t o a DHCP server.
Click t his t o creat e a new ent ry or t o updat e an exist ing one.
This saves your changes t o t he Swit ch's run- t im e m em ory. The Swit ch loses t hese changes
if it is t urned off or loses power, so use t he Sa ve link on t he t op navigat ion panel t o save
your changes t o t he non- volat ile m em ory when you are done configuring.
Click Ca n ce l t o begin configuring t his screen afresh.
Click Cle a r t o reset t he fields t o t he fact ory default s.
This field displays t he I D num ber of t he VLAN group t o which t his DHCP set t ings apply.
This field displays Se r ve r or Re la y for t he DHCP m ode.
For DHCP server configurat ion, t his field displays t he st art ing I P address and t he size of t he
I P address pool.
For DHCP relay configurat ion, t his field displays t he first rem ot e DHCP server I P address.
Select an ent ry's check box t o select a specific ent ry. Ot herwise, select t he check box in t he
t able heading row t o select all ent ries.
Select t he configurat ion ent ries you want t o rem ove and click D e le t e t o rem ove t hem .
Click Ca n ce l t o clear t he check boxes.
