Type a descript ive nam e ( up t o 32 print able ASCI I charact ers) for t his st at ic m ult icast MAC
address forwarding rule. This is for ident ificat ion only.
Ent er a m ult icast MAC address which ident ifies t he m ult icast group. The last binary bit of
t he first oct et pair in a m ult icast MAC address m ust be 1. For exam ple, t he first oct et pair
00000001 is 01 and 00000011 is 03 in hexadecim al, so 01: 00: 5e: 00: 00: 0A and
03: 00: 5e: 00: 00: 27 are valid m ult icast MAC addresses.
You can forward fram es wit h m at ching dest inat ion MAC address t o port ( s) wit hin a VLAN
group. Ent er t he I D t hat ident ifies t he VLAN group here. I f you don't have a specific t arget
VLAN, ent er 1.
