Mode Act ive For ce M a st e r M ode forces t his Swit ch t o becom e a m ast er Swit ch. This Swit ch will
have t he highest priorit y over all ot her Swit ch in t he st ack. I f t wo Swit ches are set as
m ast ers, t hey will have t he sam e priorit y level, but t he Swit ch t hat has t he longest act ive
run- t im e will be select ed as t he m ast er Swit ch aut om at ically.
Priorit y This field displays t he priorit y level of t he Swit ch. A higher num ber represent s higher
priorit y.
Slot I D Aft er This field displays t he slot I D of t he Swit ch aft er a reboot . You can save t he slot I D of t he
Reboot Swit ch aft er a reboot by clicking Fr e e ze in t he St a ck in g Con figu r a t ion screen. See

St acking MAC This field displays t he st acking Swit ch MAC address.
