Profile Nam e This field displays t he policy rout ing profile( s) you configure in t he I P Applica t ion >
Policy Rou t in g screen.
Select a profile for which you want t o configure a policy rout ing rule.
Sequence Ent er t he rule num ber from 1 t o 64. The ordering of your rules is im port ant as rules are
applied in t urn.
You can not specify a num ber already in use by anot her rule.
St at em ent Select Pe r m it t o forward t raffic t hat m at ches t his rule t o t he gat eway specified in t he rule.
Select D e n y t o disable t he rule act ion and forward t raffic t hat m at ches t his rule according
t o t he rout ing t able on t he Swit ch.
Classifier This field displays t he available act ive classifiers you configure in t he Cla ssifie r screen
( see Chapt er 19 on page
Select a classifier t o which t his policy rout ing rule applies.
Act ion Ent er t he I P address of t he gat eway. The gat eway is an im m ediat e neighbor of your Swit ch
t hat will forward t he packet t o t he dest inat ion.
Add Click t his t o creat e a new ent ry or t o updat e an exist ing one.
This saves your changes t o t he Swit ch's run- t im e m em ory. The Swit ch loses t hese changes
if it is t urned off or loses power, so use t he Sa ve link on t he t op navigat ion panel t o save
your changes t o t he non- volat ile m em ory when you are done configuring.
Cancel Click Ca n ce l t o reset t he fields t o your previous configurat ion.
Clear Click Cle a r t o set t he above fields back t o t he fact ory default s.
Act ive This field displays whet her t he policy rout e profile is enabled or not .
Profile Nam e This field displays t he nam e of t he policy rout e profile wit h which t he rule is associat ed.
