Nam e Ent er a descript ive nam e ( up t o 32 print able ASCI I charact ers) for ident ificat ion purposes.
Port Type a port t o be included in t his rule. For st acking m ode, t he first field is t he slot I D, t he
second field is t he port num ber.
VI D Ent er a VLAN I D from 1 t o 4094. This is t he VLAN t ag carried in t he packet s and will be
t ranslat ed int o t he VI D you specified in t he Tr a n sla t e d VI D field.
Translat ed VI D Ent er a VLAN I D ( from 1 t o 4094) int o which t he cust om er VI D carried in t he packet s will
be t ranslat ed.
Priorit y Select a priorit y level ( from 0 t o 7) . This is t he priorit y level t hat replaces t he cust om er
priorit y level in t he t agged packet s or adds t o t he unt agged packet s.
Add Click t his t o creat e a new ent ry or t o updat e an exist ing one.
This saves your changes t o t he Swit ch's run- t im e m em ory. The Swit ch loses t hese changes
if it is t urned off or loses pow er, so use t he Sa ve link on t he t op navigat ion panel t o save
your changes t o t he non- volat ile m em ory when you are done configuring.
Cancel Click Ca n ce l t o reset t he fields t o your previous configurat ion.
I ndex This is t he num ber of t he VLAN m apping ent ry in t he t able. Click on an index num ber t o
change t he set t ings.
Act ive This shows whet her t his ent ry is act ivat ed or not .
