LABEL DESCRIPTION
CPU Type a num ber ranging from 50 t o 100 in t he CPU t hreshold box, and t ype anot her
num ber ranging from 5 t o 60 in t he seconds box t hen click Apply.
For exam ple, 80 for CPU t hreshold and 5 for seconds m eans a log will be creat ed when
CPU ut ilizat ion reaches over 80% and last s for 5 seconds.
The log report holds 7 days of CPU log dat a and is st ored in volat ile m em ory ( RAM) . The
dat a is lost if t he Swit ch is t urned off or in event of power out age. Aft er 7 days, t he logs
wrap around and new ones replace t he earliest ones.
The higher t he CPU t hreshold num ber, t he fewer logs will be creat ed, and t he less dat a
t echnical support will have t o analyze and vice versa.
Mbuf Type a num ber ranging from 50 t o 100 in t he Mbuf ( Mem ory Buffer) t hreshold box. The
Mbuf log report is st ored in flash ( perm anent ) m em ory.
For exam ple, Mbuf 50 m eans a log will be creat ed when t he Mbuf ut ilizat ion is over
50% .
The higher t he Mbuf t hreshold num ber, t he fewer logs will be creat ed, and t he less dat a
t echnical support will have t o analyze and vice versa.
Apply Click Apply t o save your changes t o t he Swit ch's run- t im e m em ory. The Swit ch loses
t hese changes if it is t urned off or loses power, so use t he Sa ve link on t he t op
navigat ion panel t o save your changes t o t he non- volat ile m em ory when you are done
configuring.
Cancel Click Ca n ce l t o begin configuring t his screen afresh.
All Click D ow n loa d t o see all t he log report and syst em st at us. This log report is st ored in
flash m em ory. I f t he All log report is t oo large, you can download t he log report s
separat ely below.
Crash Click D ow n loa d t o see t he crash log report . The log will include inform at ion of t he last
crash and is st ored in flash m em ory.
CPU hist ory Click D ow n loa d t o see t he CPU hist ory log report . The 7- days log is st ored in RAM and
you will need t o save it , ot herwise it will be lost in event of Swit ch shut down or power
out age.
Mem ory Sect ion Click D ow nloa d t o see t he m em ory sect ion log report . This log report is st ored in flash
m em ory.
