Basic Subscriber Link Configuration

Link Type: Select the type of Link configuration.
Normal Link: Define a link configuration to be applied only for the subscriber with the
network address matching the Subscriber MAC field.
Template: Define a link configuration to be applied for any subscriber providing the
matching template name (STID) and password (STID Password).
The STID template feature allows an RDL-3000 subscriber and sector controller to
establish a wireless link without pre-registering the subscriber MAC address. This
can be used for nomadic subscribers, temporary installations, or to simplify
deployments of large numbers of subscribers with similar link requirements.
During the registration process, the subscriber provides the name and password of a
template stored in the sector controller. If the name and password match an existing
template, the link is established using the settings in that template. Multiple
subscribers may specify the same template.
