12.2 The PLANE function: Tilting the working plane (software option 8)
Overview
All PLANE functions available on the TNC describe the desired
working plane independently of the rotary axes actually present on
your machine. The following possibilities are available:
Soft key
Function
SPATIAL
PROJECTED Two projection angles:
EULER
VECTOR
POINTS
RELATIVE
AXIAL
RESET
Running an animation
In order to make the differences between each definition possibility
more clear even before selecting the function, you can start an
animated sequence via soft key. The control turns the soft key blue
and shows an animated portrayal of the selected PLANE function.
