Input possibilities
End point coordinates
Soft keys
Known data
Cartesian coordinates X and Y
Polar coordinates referenced to FPOL
Example NC blocks
7 FPOL X+20 Y+30
8 FL IX+10 Y+20 RR F100
9 FCT PR+15 IPA+30 DR+ R15
Direction and length of contour elements
Soft keys
Known data
Length of a straight line
Gradient angle of a straight line
Chord length LEN of an arc
Gradient angle AN of an entry tangent
Center angle of an arc
Caution: Danger to the workpiece and tool!
Gradient angles you defined incrementally (IAN) are
referenced by the TNC to the direction of the last
traversing block. Programs that contain incremental
gradient angles and that were created on an iTNC
530 or on earlier TNCs are not compatible.
Example NC blocks
27 FLT X+25 LEN 12.5 AN+35 RL F200
28 FC DR+ R6 LEN 10 AN-45
29 FCT DR- R15 LEN 15
