12. Log in to the switch. The default user name is admin, password, admin.
a. Type the login and press the Enter key.

13. If necessary, configure the IP address for your network. The following example shows how to program an
IP address of 192.168.11.252 with a Class B subnet mask (255.255.0.0).

Switch(config-if)# ip address 192.168.11.252/16
