PIM-SSM configuration example

Network requirements
As shown in
different organizations form stub networks, and one or more receiver hosts exist in each stub
network. The entire PIM domain operates in the SSM mode.
Host A and Host C are multicast receivers in two stub networks.
Router D connects to the network that comprises the multicast source (Source) through
GigabitEthernet 0/0/0.
Router A connects to stub network N1 through GigabitEthernet 0/0/0, and to Router D and Router E
through GigabitEthernet 0/0/3 and GigabitEthernet 0/0/1 respectively.
Router B and Router C connect to stub network N2 through their respective GigabitEthernet 0/0/0,
and to Router E through their respective GigabitEthernet 0/0/1.
Router E connects to Router A, Router B, Router C and Router D.
The SSM group range is 232.1.1.0/24.
IGMPv3 will run between Router A and N1, and between Router B/Router C and N2.
