Shape of symbol can be customized as well. You can also enable to display sky directions
with checking "Show compass" property.

6.3.14 Altitude Tape

Altitude tape shows altitude band with current altitude in the middle. Additional to that trend
vector is displayed. You can also customize tape's top and bottom boxes to display current
QNH setting, AGL altitude, flight level or MSL elevation.
Nearest airspace marker is also drawn on tape. In task mode, instead of airspace elevation
task finish point is shown. Latest thermal is drawn on tape with an appropriate colour.

6.3.15 Airspeed Tape

Airspeed tape shows current indicated airspeed. Blue-green marker on tape represents
speed to fly value. Band colours are fully customizable to match your aircraft speeds, see
more in chapter 5.1.12. Additional to that trend vector is displayed. You can customize tape
to show current true airspeed, groundspeed or outside temperature inside top or bottom
boxes.
