Updating LOMlite2 Firmware
This appendix explains how to update the Lights Out Management firmware.
1. Connect a terminal to the LOMlite2 serial port as described in Appendix D of the
Netra T4 AC100/DC100 Installation and User's Guide.
Power up the system and boot to the Unix (#) prompt.
2. Change to the /var/tmp directory.
This directory should contain the current patch (in the example, 110208-09).
# cd /var/tmp
# ls
110208-09
110208-09.tar
#
Note – Your version number will probably be different.
3. Remove the tar file and the directory and its contents.
# rm 110208-09.tar
# rm -r 110208-09
