Power Subassemblies

This chapter describes procedures for removing and replacing the power
subassemblies of the Netra T4 system unit.
The chapter contains the following sections:
Section 6.1, "Power Supply Unit" on page 6-1
Section 6.2, "Power Distribution Board" on page 6-4
Section 6.3, "System Switch and LED Assembly" on page 6-8
Caution – The plug at the end of the AC power cord is the primary means of
disconnection for the Netra T4 AC100 system.
Caution – To isolate the Netra T4 DC100 system, open the circuit breakers in both
negative supply conductors.
6.1

Power Supply Unit

The PSU is located below the motherboard and is accessed from the rear of the
system. The method of removal is the same for the AC and DC PSUs.
6.1.1

Preparation

Before proceeding to remove the PSU, carry out the following:
1. Initiate antistatic precautions.
