Connecting Power to an AC-Powered MX240 Router with Normal-Capacity Power

CAUTION:
Do not mix AC and DC power supplies within the same router.
Damage to the router might occur.
You connect AC power to the router by attaching power cords from the AC power sources
to the AC appliance inlets located on the power supplies. The power cords are provided.
To connect the AC power cords to the router for each power supply (see
Figure 72 on page
196):
Locate the power cords shipped with the router, which should have a plug appropriate

Attach an ESD grounding strap to your bare wrist and connect the strap to one of the

Move the AC input switch next to the appliance inlet on the power supply to the off (

NOTE:
Each power supply must be connected to a dedicated AC power
feed and a dedicated customer site circuit breaker. We recommend that
you use a dedicated customer site circuit breaker rated for 15 A (250 VAC)
minimum, or as required by local code.
Route the power cord appropriately. Verify that the power cord does not block the air
