Scanner Setup

You can set the initial values of the scanner functions.
1.
Press (SETTING).

Select [Admin Setup], and then press

Description
Sets the default scan size.
Sets the default density.
Sets the default the background removal.
Sets the default resolution.
Sets the default contrast.
Sets the default red-green color balance.
Sets the default saturation.
Sets the default RGB contrast.
Sets whether to use Continuous Scan mode by default.
Sets whether to scan a monochrome document in grayscale or in black and
white by default.
Selects the default file format.
[Color]/[Mono (Grayscale)] can be selected from PDF, TIFF, JPEG, and XPS.
[Mono (Binary)] can be selected from PDF, TIFF, and XPS.
Sets the default password to open an encrypted PDF. A document open
password cannot be the same as a permission password. You can enter up to
32 characters.
Sets the default password to control printing or editing on an encrypted PDF
file. A permission password cannot be the same as a document open
password. You can enter up to 32 characters.
Sets whether the registered password is displayed or not displayed on the
password selection screen for the document open password or permission
password.
[Disable]: Displays the registered default password using* instead of each
